Discover the Farm Gate Art Trail

The Farm Gate Art Trail is a unique, community-led open-air gallery stretching approximately 250km through the landscapes of Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun and surrounds. This ever-growing project is the brainchild of Rave About Arts (Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council) and represents the heart and soul of our region.

The Story: From Scrap to Masterpiece

The trail is the result of a series of community workshops held between 2013 and 2020. We invited professional artists to teach welding and design skills to over 100 local community members—farmers, carpenters and contractors alike.

The mission was simple: look at farm scrap in a different light. Participants transformed everyday objects like cattle feeders, cement mixers, and old trampolines into extraordinary sculptures that celebrate our local identity.

Whether you are exploring the "Eucalyptus Epicentre of the Universe" or visiting the pristine paradise of the Fitzgerald River National Park, the Farm Gate Art Trail offers a scenic detour like no other.
